FLIGHTS
Flagstaff Pulliam Airport
FLL is the closest airport to town. From here take a Mountain Line bus, Lyft, or Uber and be downtown in 10 minutes. There are also rental car services available for those wanting wheels throughout the weekend.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
PHX often has more flight options for cheaper prices. From here either rent a car or book a seat on a Groome bus to drive 2.5 hours North to Flagstaff. We recommend setting your destination as the Flagstaff Amtrak Station, which is smack in the middle of downtown!
Getting around town
Those Boots Were Made for Walkin'!
Flagstaff is very walkable! Guests staying in the downtown area will have the city's best restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and parks easily accessible to them. A historical hub split in twain by Route 66, downtown is full of charisma and inviting to wanderers.
Pedal to the Metal
You will need some sort of vehicle to get to the wedding venue, which is a 25 minute drive from downtown, so we recommend either renting a car or connecting with other guests for a carpool. We're happy to help facilitate that! Alternatively, Lyfts and Ubers abound.
Accomodations
The Weatherford
Located in the heart of downtown, the Weatherford is the oldest hotel in the area. Having first opened its doors in 1897, this charming establishment has offered its boutique rooms, balcony bar, and restaurant to travelers like President Theodore Roosevelt, artist Thomas Moran, and Zane Grey, who famously penned his novel The Call of the Canyon on the hotel's third floor and after whom the ballroom is now named.

Hotel Monte Vista
Lovingly referred to by locals as the Monty V, this hotel celebrated its centennial this very year! Another great option for those looking for a downtown stay with character and a certain Western panache, this establishment boasts cozy rooms and a snazzy craft cocktail bar below called Rendezvous.
High Country Motor Lodge
A tad more modern, HCML has the layout of a roadside motel but the atmosphere of a high-end hotel. You can choose from a classic room or a cottage, and enjoy the pool, hot tub, sauna, spa, and bar! This one's a little farther from downtown, and those looking to stay here should have a car at their disposal.
But Wait, There's More!
These are just three of many options. With Flagstaff being right on Route 66, there is no shortage of hotels, motels, Air BNB's and Vrbo's. And of course, for those who don't mind some good fresh air, Flagstaff is a hotspot for camping!

Our Favorite Things to Eat, Drink, and Enjoy!
Austin's home town and Jillian's fast favorite, Flagstaff is the perfect convergence of gorgeous nature and charismatic community. Located within the world's largest contiguous pine forest and at an elevation of 7000 ft, Flagstaff sits at the base of Arizona's highest summit, Mt Humphreys and the San Francisco Peaks. The region borders the Navajo Nation and is home to the descendants of thirteen tribes. Steeped in the lore of the Wild West, the city of Flagstaff was founded in 1876 as a water and supply stop for travelers and settlers moving west. It was swept up in an industry boom when the railroad was established and those tracks still wind their way through town along Route 66, hosting an average of 100 trains a day. A mere 1.5 hr drive from the Grand Canyon and 45 minutes from Sedona, Flagstaff is a High Desert hidden gem.

Macy's European Coffeehouse- Fantastic coffee and pastries with a completely vegetarian menu. If you're getting a bean-based drink, our favorite is the Macy's Special
Fratelli Pizza - Our favorite is the Flagstaff...and word on the street is they've got the best ranch in town
Mama B's - Pretty darn good smashburgers
Kokiyo - Delicious Korean food
Foret - Scrumptious breakfast
Sosta - Wood-fired pizza, gelato, and a caesar salad wrap Austin is particularly enamored with
Sosoba - Hearty ramen and a killer mai tai, a good spot for hungry night owls
Late for the Train - Great coffee. We love an iced Fireman's Mocha!
Steep - Incredible tea. Get some fresh brew or take home some loose leaf!
Miz Zips - A little bit off the beaten path about 10 minutes drive from downtown but our favorite classic diner on 66

Pay n Take - The river guide watering hole of choice (right after the Colorado River of course). Super casual!
Historic Brewing Company - Delicious and oftentimes creative locally brewed beer
Mother Road Brewing Company - Another great local brewery. Order a "Tower" like a local for the famous Flagstaff IPA.
Cornish Pasty - If you were a traveling goblin but in a cool way, this would be the perfect place for you. A mix of tavern and pub, Cornish is also known for its traditional doughy, flaky pies made famous by miners.
Oeno - a cozy little wine bar with plenty of options
Flag Terroir - ditto!
The Annex - A charismatic cocktail lounge with incredible concoctions
Rendezvous - ditto again!

Lowell Observatory - Flagstaff was the world's first International Dark Sky City and stargazing is an absolute must. The observatory has guided star tours from their heated observation deck and you can look through their super powerful telescopes. This is where Pluto was discovered!

Aspen Corner - Walk through a sea of gold!
Lava Tube - Spelunking in cool, dark caves— bring lights and layers!

Wupatki - Explore the largest free-standing pueblo in Northern Arizona.
